Qualcomm is accelerating dedicated processor plans for agent-based experiences across data centers and smartphones. This move represents one of the first concrete examples of the new paradigm known as agentic AI in the artificial intelligence sector being reflected in hardware infrastructure.

The company's new processor designs are optimized for running large language models on-device. This approach offers significant advantages such as reducing latency, increasing privacy, and decreasing cloud dependency.
